Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone. Wish I was there to be with everyone. Sorry for not keeping y'all updated more often but what a crazy eight months this has been. Finished the Advanced Mobility Course last week and turned control of it over to the trainers. 18 to 20 hours a day, seven days a week, for seven months is catching up and I'm ready for a break. I will be leaving here on December 6th and will fly into Dubai where I will have a 5 hour layover and then fly into Washington DC where Karen and I will spend 2 days and attend the Gold Chairmans Award banquit which is being held in the Library of Congress. As a member of the Afghanistan Facilities Team, our bronze award was elevated to a Silver Chairmans Award, and then elevated to a Gold Chairmans Award. We will compete against 3 other teams for the Chairmans Gold Award which is the highest award a employee can win within BAE Systems. Not sure what Karen has us set up to do while I'm home but we will get around to see everyone before Christmas. Looking forward to seeing everyone. 11 days and a wake up, and I'm outta here. Love You All and I will see you all soon.
