UPDATE

Hi everyone. Sorry it's been so long since my last update but have been staying real busy. I will be leaving Iraq on the 26th for Afghanistan. I will train for two weeks with Gary Hoff who is a very good friend of mine from back home. We worked together at CF and Roadway and I helped him get in at BAE. After training with him in Bagram, I will cover for him as the Northern Lead in Afghanistan while he goes on R&R and when he returns I will go down to Kandahar as the Southern Lead in Afghanistan. There are 16 trucks there right now and 107 on the way so once I get there I will be very, very busy as I will be on my own to keep these trucks up and FMC (Fully Mission Capable) until they get me a crew hired, trained, and deployed to my AOR (AREA OF Responsibility). This is a great opertunity for me and I'm really looking forward to it and being able to work with Gary again. I will update again when I reach Bagram. Take care and keep in touch.

  2. Thanks for the update. Be careful when you get there, and keep your 6 covered. Sounds like an outstanding opportunity for you with the company, and I know you'll take full advantage of it and do yourself proud.

If you can't wait there it is. I hope it works. I marked Bagram and Kandahar here on my computer, so I hope it shows up on the blog site. Guess I'll find out when I post this.
