Kim's A Mom - Again

Kim is the Mother of a new baby girl!

On our camping trip over Mother's Day weekend, another camper was walking her dog, a Welsh Corgy. Kim fell in love with the dog and the maternal instinct kicked in immediately. Not long after we got home Kim had her own new daughter. Becoming a new mother at 50 has it's advantages. This time instead of changing diapers, Kim lets her daughter outside to tend to her business. Another advantage is that despite her young age, the dog is relatively self sufficient, unlike a 2 month old baby. No bottles to fill or wash, just 2 bowls, one each with food and water.

Koko is her given name, and she is full of energy, but also loves to curl up and take a nap. She has adapted well to her new home, and gets along well with everyone. The cats had to adapt, but everyone gets along now. She is a playful little fuzzball, with really short legs and no tail.

Kim brought her to the house to see "Aunt Jan and Cousin Herm". She made herself right at home, and got along well with Herm.

We'll keep everyone posted on her progress as she grows.
