Here is our little corner of the world. Jan's idea to expand her e-mail list from each of us to Kevin, and him to us resulted in this experiment. So, let's see if we can make it work. This site will allow all of us to communicate in an open forum so that Kevin can stay up to date on what's happening here at home, and, if he gets some really neat photos of camels or anything else Iraqi, he can post it also so we can see how he's doing.

Viewing this blog, and posting to it will be open to everyone, so that we can share it amongst family and friends. Please feel free to share this site.

Kev - Keep your head down and stay safe over there.

    A BIG OOPS on my part. As I said, this is a work in progress and I made a major boo-boo.

    I was working with the Blog template to make it better and I inadvertently, and without knowing it, lost everybody's comments including the one Kevin posted today.

    Paraphrasing what he said was that he had as good an Easter as he could, not being home, and that they had turkey and shrimp for dinner. He will be seeing Charlie Daniels in concert on the 17th. Charlie is doing a show for the troops in the Middle East and will be at his base on Friday.

    Kevin sent his love to all.

    I apologize, and Kev - I am really sorry.

    ADDING PHOTOGRAPHS -
    If anyone wants to post a photo here, I now have an easy way to do it. Just follow these directions - EMAIL THE PHOTO TO ME. I will handle the rest. NO photos of naked men or ugly women please. Some cat photos may be allowed, but don't hold your breath. Herm is the only exception because I married his Mom.

    Hey Kevin!

    How are you doing? Sorry that we didnt write to you yet. How was your Easter? It wasnt the same here without. Brayden talkes about you all of the time. Everytime we go to the store he wants to get some pepsi for and I cant say no to him cause he says it in such a cute way:) He always talks about what you and him are going to do when you come....so cute. When are you coming back? Aleecia is good, she is getting ready to start softball tonight. Derricks good too,we had our first race 2 weeks ago at Lincoln, he won his heat race, started 7th in the feature,but ended up pulling in cause everyone was trying to win the race on the first lap and he got caught up in 2 wrecks. We race this saturday at the Grove for the first time this year..wish us luck.

    I put up a link for the Cup Series schedule. Right side, scroll down & click. Not sure if you get NASCAR on TV at your base, but I am thinking that you do. I've seen some feeds of troops on some the the pre-race coverage. Just remember, all of the listed start times are Eastern. If you do get the races, then you are set to BOOGITY-BOOGITY-BOOGITY!

    When the NFL season rolls around, I'll add a link for that too.

    Hi everyone. Sorry for not getting back to you all sooner but have been keeping real busy. Seem's like it make's the day go by faster and keep's my mind occupied, if you know what I mean. Concert was great, got some real good picture's I will get to Keith for posting. Now that I have a digital camera I want to get some picture's of the fighter jet's taking off at night. What an awsome sight, and you would not belive how loud they are. Thank's for keeping in touch. It is nice to hear from everyone back home. Take care and love you all.

    kev....glad your keeping busy...can"t wait to see pics of jets...have any pics of camels?..haha...this past weekend i was out doing my yard work and gardening...love my flowers although sis don't...well have to send keith some pics to post of us hiking at rocky ridge..and just pics in general..miss you much..be safe
